RONIX PARKS I-BEAM AIRCORE 2.0 2017
Just when you thought wakeboard innovation went stagnant, Ronix introduces the Parks I-Beam Air Core 2 Wakeboard. With it's camber profile -- arguably the biggest development since Herb O'Brien decided to create a fiberglass layup -- this board has a neutrally balanced weight distribution that allows you to drive off the wake with both legs rather than being forced to lean back like Fat Joe. Beyond this revolutionary new profile, the Ronix Parks I-Beam Air Core 2 Wakeboard features a top of the line construction with a super light core, a responsive I-Beam wrap, and sharp rails for a precise ride that enables Parks Bonifay to ride the way he does.
TECH FEATURES
Rocker Type
Camber – Since wakeboarding's inception in 1991, there have been only 2 main choices in a rocker line. A faster "continuous," or a more vertical/explosive "3-stage" rocker line, or a blend of the two. You never realize how much you ride in the backseat of a wakeboard until you ride camber. It allows you to ride in the most ergonomically correct body position driving off the wake in a more centered position. Welcome to the revolution.

Increased Sidecut
Rails/Edges
Sharp Rail / Soft Bevel – A more responsive design. Created for a rider that likes to live on the rail.
Speedwalls – Vertical poured urethane creates more top water speed and a durable bumper from those floating menaces at a cable park.
Core
Aircore 2.0 – In addition to having the least amount of swing weight, she packs a mean punch in the lively department and has more contact and feel for boat riding than the original Aircore with the addition of I-Beam.
Laminates
I-Beam – A second piece of glass wraps through the core creating an additional strength point. Rigidity unlike any core Ronix has ever made with the dampening qualities of fiberglass. The result is a snappy construction with softer landings than any carbon board out there. The holeshot response of carbon -- the feel of fiberglass.
Monocoque – A wrapped glass from the bottom to the top so the flash line is no longer the weak point of the board -- and is now the strongest. A more durable construction and torsionally stiffer ride.
Magic Carpet – Ronix is always sourcing new fiberglass materials trying to find the perfect weave that allows just enough resin to bleed through and adhere to their Magic Carpet.
Base
Low Friction Base – Developed for the most amount of glide speed in high-end boat boards.
Fins
4 Alloy 1.0" Ramp Fins
4 Fiberglass 0.8" Free Agent Fins
ADDITIONAL FEATURES
M6 Hardware – The Euros have it figured out. A higher thread count means more hold at a shallower depth. So now we can go to thinner profiled boards with a shorter insert without sacrificing boot lock down. The result is boards with more feel and contact on the water.
